An objective of the present invention is to provide a method, a server and a computer program for transmitting binary data which can efficiently transmit an encrypted message by minimizing an increase in a message volume when transferring the encrypted message. The method for transmitting binary data comprises: a step of encoding a message using a predetermined character code; a step of dividing the message by predetermined length to generate short message service (SMS) messages; and a step of transmitting the SMS messages to a receiving terminal. The predetermined character code uses twelve or more bits in two bytes.
