In order to simultaneously and randomly form tires of multiple, different sizes on a single line, this tire manufacturing method comprises: a green tire formation step of, on a member assembly devi ce having a plurality of work stations arranged along a track, assembling the ti re constituent members to an outer surface of a rigid core moving on the track at the work stations ; and a vulcanization step of putting the green tire with the rigid core into the vulcanization molds. Each time the rigid core is carried into the work station, the size of the carried rigid core is identified, and data on the attachment condition according to the identified size from identification information and data on the attachment condition for the member material according to the size of the rigid core stored in advance in the control device is determined.
