[Class 132 (ii)] In a tennis racket press as described in the parent Specification, the slide 8 is fixed in the clamping position by a member or members detachably connecting it to the bar 2a of the frame towards which it is drawn during clamping. The fixing members may comprise straps 9 fixed to the slide and having holes 10 engaged by pins 11 in the bar 2a. In a modification (Fig. 4 not shown) links are pivoted to the slide and have notches which engage the pins 11. The fixing members may be fixed to the bar 2a and engage the slide 8.</p> |
