Disclosed is an optical fiber array block into which a polarization maintaining optical fiber array is inserted. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the polarization maintaining optical fiber array block comprises at least one groove etched to allow polarization maintaining optical fibers to be inserted therein, wherein the groove may have a rhombus-shaped cross section. According to the present invention, a polarization axis may be easily arranged, while a polarization property is maintained.
