PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner particle manufacturing method for manufacturing toner particles that have uniform drying history by stably obtaining wet toner particles without closing holes in a screen in a crushing step in which wet toner particles are obtained by crushing a toner cake in the manufacturing method for wet granulated toner particles.SOLUTION: A toner particle manufacturing method comprises: a filtration step in which a dispersion medium is removed from a dispersion liquid containing resin particles or from slurry and obtain a toner cake; a crushing step in which wet toner particles are obtained by crushing the toner cake by use of a crushing device 1 that includes a rotor 2 rotated by driving means, and a screen 3 with a plurality of holes, which is below the rotor; and a drying step in which toner particles are obtained by drying the wet toner particles. The shape and area of holes in the screen 3 are within a fixed range. |
