PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating film forming method capable of forming a coated color in which a brightness greatly changes from highlight (near regular reflection light) to shade (oblique direction), blackness is high, which has a soft texture, and which is excellent heat blocking property, and capable of being applied to industrial products such as an exterior of a two-wheeled vehicle and interior parts of a vehicle.SOLUTION: A coating film forming method includes: a step of forming a metallic base coating film containing a scale-shape aluminum pigment on an article to be coated; and a step of forming a color clear coating film containing a color pigment reflecting and/or transmitting infrared light and a gloss adjuster on the metallic base coating film. |
