摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently supply oxygen to the interior of a secondary battery, thereby reducing discharge reserve for improving the life of the secondary battery and charge/discharge capacities.SOLUTION: A secondary battery 1 includes, as major components: a battery module 2; a conduit line 3; a first control valve 4; a second control valve 5; and a pressure indicator P. At the conduit line 3, the first control valve 4 and the second control valve 5 are disposed in middle parts so as to form a loop shape. The first control valve 4 is disposed in a direction that allows the flow from the battery module 2 to the exterior, and the second control valve 5 is disposed in a direction that allows the flow from the exterior to the battery module 2. The conduit line 3 has a passage α which passes through the first control valve 4 and a passage &bgr; which passes through the second control valve 5. The passage α serves as a passage that discharges a gas occurring in the battery module 2 from a conduit opening 3a to the exterior. On the other hand, the passage &bgr; serves as a passage for connecting an oxygen cylinder 6 with the conduit opening 3a and supplying oxygen to the interior of the battery module 2.
