The present invention relates to an apparatus for desulfurization/denitrification of polluted gas provided with a separate hydroxyl generation unit, in which the polluted gas contains sulfur and nitrogen compounds. The apparatus of the present invention includes: a reactor for passage of the polluted gas; a remote hydroxyl group generation unit which has a sealed structure with an inner space being blocked from the outside, is separated from the reactor, supplies air and moisture to the inner space, has an ultraviolet ray generation unit generating a vacuum ultraviolet ray, decomposes an oxygen molecule contained in the injected air into an oxygen radical by the generated ultraviolet ray, and generates and the oxygen radical obtained from the decomposition subject to binding with a water molecule contained in the injected water to generate a hydroxyl as an OH radical; and a hydroxyl injection unit which connects the reactor to the remote hydroxyl generation unit and injects into the reactor the hydroxyl generated by the remote hydroxyl generation unit. The hydroxyl injected from the reactor collects anglesite- and nitrate- structure particles generated through desulfurization and denitrification reactions with respect to the polluted gas. According to the present invention, a reduction in OH radical generation efficiency which is attributable to dust or pollutants contained in the polluted gas and adhering to a microwave generation unit or the ultraviolet ray generation unit can be forestalled and denitrification/desulfurization reaction efficiency with respect to the polluted gas is maximized, and thus the polluted gas can be treated in an efficient manner. |
