The business item discovering apparatus according to the present invention comprises: a document collecting unit for collecting external documents; a document classifying unit for classifying the collected external documents; an information extracting unit for extracting an item from the external documents; an information verifying unit for verifying the extracted item and determining if the item is qualified; an information analyzing unit for generating index information through an index process for the collected external documents and for generating analysis information by analyzing the extracted item based on the generated index information, if the item is determined to be qualified; and an information output unit for outputting the generated analysis information. By performing a three-dimensional analysis for a verified item according to a specific standard, the business item discovering apparatus according to the present invention can discover a promising business item.
