PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a program recording device capable of searching desired scenes from TV programs recorded for a long time.SOLUTION: A recorder 2 records TV broadcast programs, and at the same time an index distribution device 3 creates a scene index of the programs. The scene index is information indicating time when each scene appears in the program and contents thereof. After the termination of the program, the scene index is distributed from the index distribution device to the recorder. A user of the recorder selectively reproduces only desired scenes from the recorded programs based on the distributed index. |
