An embodiment of the present invention relates to a passenger search-type taxi driving system and a method thereof, wherein the passenger search-type taxi driving system can allow a driver to actively select a driving desired area and to have a passenger arranged around the selected area. The passenger search-type taxi driving system according to the embodiment of the present invention comprises: a passenger terminal carried by a user to get on a taxi; a vehicle terminal for transmitting driving-available area information to a reception target; and a taxi arrangement service server for searching the passenger terminal according to the driving-available area information of the vehicle terminal, and for intermediating connection between the searched passenger terminal and the passenger terminal. The taxi arrangement service server can provide location information of the searched passenger terminal for a corresponding vehicle terminal which provided the driving-available area, or provide the searched passenger terminal with call information of a corresponding vehicle terminal which provided the driving-available area. |
