PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure accumulation system for a vehicle which: reduces a loss in power supply in a manner that operates a pump through direct supply of electric power generated by an alternator when the vehicle decelerates; and enables fluid with pressure thereof increased or reduced by the pump to be appropriately supplied to an auxiliary machine when needed.SOLUTION: A pressure accumulation system of a vehicle 1 comprises: an alternator 3; a vacuum pump 4; a vacuum tank 5; a battery 7; control means 8; and an engine ECU 9. The control means 8 enables the alternator 3 to generate electric power when the vehicle decelerates and operates the vacuum pump 4 through direct supply of the electric power generated by the alternator 3. Also, the control means 8 operates the vacuum pump 4 through power supply from the battery 7 when the vehicle accelerates and stores fluid with pressure thereof increased or reduced by the vacuum pump 4 in the vacuum tank 5. |
