PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the efficiency of the insertion work of a pipe member by mainly optimizing a structure and a shape.SOLUTION: A telescopic joint 1 integrally has a spigot part 3 and a socket part 4 which is larger than the spigot part 3 in diameter, and can absorb the thermal elongation/contraction of a pipe member 5 which is inserted therein from the socket 4. In the telescopic joint 1, the socket part 4 has, therein, a seal part 11 which elastically contacts with an external peripheral face of the inserted pipe member 5, and can perform sealing to the displacement of the pipe member 5 to an axial line direction 8 and a radial direction 9, the spigot part 3 has a final position regulation part 12 at the inside of the spigot part 3 which regulates its position so that an end part of the inserted pipe member 5 does not intrude into the spigot part 3 or deeper, and an intermediate stop part 13 which can stop the end part of the pipe member 5 at an optimum insertion depth is arranged at a position at this side by a maximum elongation amount of the pipe member 5 from the final position regulation part 12 at the inside of the spigot 3. |
