The method involves subjecting the plastic material (K) to a heat treatment in a recycling machine (R) before transferring into a preform machine (M). Heat is transferred into the prefrom machine from the recycling machine with plastic material during heat treatment. The recycled plastic material is transferred from the recycling machine into the perform machine with a temperature of 180 degree Celsius. An independent claim is also included for a system for manufacturing container-preforms of recycled plastic material, particularly polyethylene terephthalate flakes.
