The present invention relates to a method for determining a mass of a particle cluster, comprising the following steps: (i) emitting a light toward said particle cluster (11), (ii) using a plurality of capture means to collect the light diffused by said particle cluster (11) toward said capture means, (iii) conducting a spectral analysis of the collected light so as to obtain spectral intensity values for a plurality of wavelengths and for the plurality of capture means (21), (iv) calculating the mass of said particle cluster (11), implementing a mathematical model using said spectral intensity values as input and comprising weighting coefficients. The invention also concerns a device and a system implementing the method.
