PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording device, when an upper limit of the number of recording images is set and storage means for storing recording job data is provided, capable of efficiently securing a free capacity of the storage means.SOLUTION: If a free capacity of a storage equals to or greater than a data amount of recording job data (S10: Yes), the recording job data are stored in the storage (S13), and if not (S10: No), when there are reduction object data whose specified number of recording images exceeds allowable number of recording images, reduction processing is performed (S12). In the reduction processing, reduction is performed by deleting the data amount of the reduction object data in the storage, saving to a server, or compression. |
