PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid improper muting due to overshooting of a hammer during a back check.SOLUTION: Once an optical sensor detects a hammer body passing a predetermined position in an onward rotation direction, a note-on playing signal is generated and output to generate a musical sound. On the output of the note-on playing signal, a timer is started and a value of a note-on velocity Vel is stored. When the hammer body passes a muting position in a return rotation direction, a note-off playing signal is generated and output to mute the musical sound being generated. When the current timer value is less than a predetermined time and the Vel value is equal to or larger than a predetermined value Vx, the muting position is shifted to a rest side according to a sounding stop position table. |
