PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production device capable of obtaining a medical/hygienic tool including a sharp part having a smoother surface than before.SOLUTION: A production device for a medical/hygienic tool includes a plate-like holder holding a metal base material including a processed surface obtained by processing, and a generation part generating plasma and/or electrons, in which the medical/hygienic tool including a sharp part is obtained by allowing the plasma and/or the electrons generated in the generation part to collide with the processed surface to polish the processed surface. The plate-like holder includes a hole formed in the thick direction, and includes a holding mechanism capable of holding the metal base material by inserting a part of the metal base material into the hole such that a portion including the processed surface projects to a side of the generation part, and at least a part of the outermost surface on the side of the generation part in the plate-like holder is made of an electrically insulative material. |
