The invention relates to equipment for breeding insect larvae, comprising a larvae digestion reactor, with a supply system, an aeration system and a solid extraction system. The solid extraction system has an air stream introduced via the base of the reactor, solid-gas and solid-solid separators being arranged behind the reactor. The aeration system comprises an aeration conduit arranged in the lower part of the reactor, connected to the digestion chamber by means of a diffuser with a plurality of perforations along the digestion chamber. The supply system comprises a water and nutrient mixer and an extruder for extruding the sludge formed. The reactor can operate under hyperbaric conditions.
