PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas decomposition element improved in gas decomposition efficiency by adopting catalysts having the optimum mixing ratio in accordance with the variation in gas concentration in a decomposition process.SOLUTION: A gas decomposition element 100 includes a solid electrolyte layer 101, a first electrode layer (anode electrode) 102 provided at one side of the solid electrolyte layer, and a second electrode layer (cathode electrode) 105 provided at the other side. A mixing ratio of catalysts 151, 152 provided at the first electrode layer and/or the second electrode layer is varied toward a gas flowing direction. |
