摘要 The present invention relates to a method to control a temperature of a transmission, comprising the following steps of: a temperature detecting step (S100) of detecting a temperature of a lubricant using a temperature sensor; a driving condition deciding step (S200) of deciding a driving condition to which the temperature of the lubricant belongs among a cold starting condition, a general driving condition, and an overheat driving condition; a bypass valve controlling step (S310, S330, S350) of controlling a bypass valve according to the driving condition decided in the step of deciding the driving condition (S200); and a driving condition re-deciding step (S400) of re-deciding the driving condition to which the temperature of the lubricant belongs among the cold starting condition, the general driving condition, and the overheat driving condition, following the step of controlling the bypass valve (S300). According to the present invention, the method is able to maintain the lubricant temperature within a proper range, by increasing the temperature using an exhaust gas when the lubricant temperature is excessively low, and by decreasing the temperature using a heat exchanger and a vehicle-induced wind when the lubricant temperature is excessively high. As such, the temperature of the transmission is able to be maintained within a proper range, to allow the most optimal performance of the transmission.
