<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein filaments obtained by cutting laver belonging to genus porphyra generating a thallus directly from the filament are hardly fixed to a culture net for laver knitted with yarns. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for fixing laver belonging to genus porphyra generating thallus directly from the filament to the yarn, the yarn 5 is soaked in a water tank 11 filled with sea water 6, and the cut material of the filament of laver belonging to genus porphyra generating thallus directly from the filament is put in the water tank 11.
