PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixed window unit for an automobile, capable of reducing the number of components.SOLUTION: On the side of an automobile, a fixed window unit having a window glass fixed on a vehicle body front side or a front door side includes a window glass 12 made of a transparent resin and having a finlike projection 24 formed on its outer surface, and a light source configured to irradiate the finlike projection 24 with light from a car room inside and to be lit interlockingly with the direction instruction of the automobile. The finlike projection 24 functions as a lens for guiding the light of the light source to the outside, and as a vortex generator for generating a vortex for stabilizing traveling of the vehicle. |
