PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera extension device which can insert and remove a small-sized video camera without removing a cable and is made slim while intensity withstanding weight of a view finder is secured.SOLUTION: An extension device 100 includes: a loading section 1 for loading a small-sized video camera 20; and a mounting section 4 for supporting a view finder 40. A pair of bodies 2L and 2R are erected on a camera operator side of the loading section 1, and an insertion space S where an upper part into which the small-sized video camera 20 is inserted is opened is formed. THe extension device includes: a link arm 5 whose one end is rotatably coupled to the body 2R around an axis where X1 is set to be an axial line, and in which one end of the mounting section 4 is rotatably coupled to the other end around an axis where X2 is set to be an axial line; and engagement means 6 which slidably and rotatably engages the mounting section 4 around an axis where X3 is set to be an axial line at an upper part of the body 2R. The upper part of the insertion space S can be opened by rotating the mounting section 4 while it is slid to a body 2R side. |
