An internal combustion engine includes a water-cooling type intercooler cooling air charged by a turbocharger. The intercooler includes an HT intercooler wherein HT cooling water penetrating through a cylinder block is received, and an LT intercooler wherein LT cooling water of a temperature is lower than a temperature of the HT cooling water. The LT intercooler is arranged by coming into a lower part of an air intake of the HT intercooler. A control device sets up a target LT temperature as a high-temperature target value if the temperature of the HT cooling water received in the HT intercooler is lower than a target HT temperature corresponding to a temperature of air when heating the air is completed, and sets up the target LT temperature as a lower-temperature target value if the temperature of the HT cooling water is higher than the target HT temperature. The purpose of the present invention is to provide a control device capable of reducing time required to heat air. |
