PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a tool for measuring a handrail driving spindle position of a passenger conveyor, capable of measuring more reliably a position in an axial direction of a handrail driving spindle with respect to a guide rail.SOLUTION: A handrail driving spindle position measuring tool is used in measuring a position on an axial direction of a handrail driving spindle 101 with respect to a following rail 85 having a rolling piece 851 in which a following roller 74 of a foot step 7 rolls and an uprising piece 852 extending upward from the rolling piece 851. The tool includes an extension part 12 extending from the uprising piece 852 to the handrail driving spindle 101 along the uprising piece 852, and a fixed part 13 fixed to the following rail 85 and supporting the extension part 12. A distance between the extension part 12 when the fixed part 13 is fixed to the following rail 85 and a marking 105 provided to the handrail driving spindle 101 is measured, and thereby the position of the handrail driving spindle 101 with respect to the following rail 85 in the axial direction is measured. |
