The present disclosure relates to a method and apparatus for allocating a resource for multiple user transmission in a high efficiency wireless (HEW) LAN. According to an aspect of the present disclosure, a method for transmitting a physical layer protocol data unit (PPDU) to stations (STA) by an access point (AP), can be provided. The method may include a step of transmitting a preamble which includes a high-efficiency signal (HE-SIG) field of the PPDU, a short training field (HE-STF), and a long training field (HE-LTF) on a transmission channel, to the STAs; and a step of transmitting a data field which includes a group-addressed frame transmitted from a first sub channel among sub channels having divided transmission channels, on the transmission channel. |
