The present invention relates to a system for protecting an electronic book which supports private copying, and a method thereof. More specifically, in order to allow private copying, the system for protecting an electronic book which supports private copying, and the method thereof, encode an electronic book using a secret code generated to correspond to a user and distribute the encoded book, insert right information including user identification information into the electronic book in order to enable the user to freely copy within an allowable range of private copying, and, at the same time, can track responsibility in the case of illegal copying. |
