Disclosed are a method and apparatus for forwarding traffic of a stacking system. The method comprises: after a first member device of a stacking system receives a data message, judging whether an egress port of the data message is an aggregation link port of the stacking system; when the egress port of the data message is the aggregation link port of the stacking system, selecting a first physical port corresponding to the shortest path according to an aggregation forwarding table maintained by this device, wherein a plurality of available physical ports corresponding to the aggregation link port and a distance value of a path from this device to an affiliated member device of each available physical port are recorded in the aggregation forwarding table; and forwarding the data message via the first physical port. The technical solution can solve the problem of uncertainty of cross-device link aggregation traffic forwarding, and reduce occupation of stacking bandwidths. |
