Disclosed is a method for determining a region of interest (ROI) from an image. According to a variety of embodiments of the present invention, the method for determining an ROI comprises the following steps of: obtaining a wearing portion of a first electronic device; obtaining a first image related to a user wearing the first electronic device; and determining an ROI from the first image based on the obtained wearing portion. Therefore, the method processes only the ROI to reduce resources of an electronic device allocated to image processing.
