PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system that performs a water self-sufficient operation and that calibrates a flow meter.SOLUTION: The fuel cell system includes: a fuel cell 1 that has an anode 10 to which anode gas is supplied and a cathode 11 to which cathode gas is supplied; a reformer 2A that reforms raw material gas and produces anode gas; a condenser 76 that condenses and recovers water contained in exhaust gas from the fuel cell 1; a water tank 4 that stores therein water recovered through the condenser 76 so as to supply water to the reformer 2A as needed; a water meter 46 that measures the amount of water recovered through the condenser 76; an exhaust gas thermometer 37 that measures the temperature of exhaust gas flowing through the condenser 76; a raw material gas flow meter 300 that measures the flow rate of raw material gas; a cathode gas flow meter 72 that measures the flow rate of cathode gas; and a control section 100X that calibrates at least one of the raw material gas flow meter 300 and the cathode gas flow meter 72 from a difference between computed water balance computed from the gas flow rates and the temperature of exhaust gas and measured water balance calculated from the amount of water. |
