PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake gear which is low in manufacturing cost, and small-sized and can obtain enough brake force.SOLUTION: In a brake gear 2, a brake shoe 21 has brake shoe upper surfaces 24u, 24d having an inclined part, and a receiving part 22 has receiving part lower surfaces provided with inclined parts 26u, 26d corresponding to the brake shoe upper surfaces. In braking, the receiving part 22 and the brake shoe 21 are lowered by actuation of an elevating mechanism 23, the brake shoe 21 is grounded, and the receiving part 22 runs on the brake shoe upper surfaces by the movement of a mover. When a vertical load is generated in a brake protection mechanism 10 over a predetermined value, the brake protection mechanism 10 raises the receiving part 22. |
