摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for biologically treating organic wastewater, in each of which a multistage activated sludge method employing the predatory activity of microorganisms is adopted to improve treatment efficiency, reduce the sludge volume and improve the treated water quality by giving priority to filtration-predatory microorganisms. <P>SOLUTION: Organic wastewater is introduced into a first biological treatment tank 1 and treated biologically by bacteria. First biologically treated water containing bacteria of dispersed states is sent from the first biological treatment tank 1 to a second biological treatment tank 2 to obtain second biologically treated water. The second biologically treated water is subjected to solid-liquid separation. A microorganism-supporting carrier 22 is disposed in the second biological treatment tank 2.
