Oral and dental care and cleaning composition comprises (a) 0.001-5 wt.% of 4-(3-ethenyl-3,7-dimethyl-1,6-octadienyl)-phenol, and (b) 0.00001-5 wt.% of at least one antibacterial compound comprising (c) benzoate, (d) paraben, (e) copper salts, (f) silver salts, (g) zinc salts, (h) triclosan and/or (i) hexetidine. ACTIVITY : Antibacterial; Antiinflammatory. MECHANISM OF ACTION : None given.
