PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical beacon that reduces a load to a main CPU as much as possible and notifies the main CPU of necessary information.SOLUTION: An optical beacon 1 includes a light reception unit 4 for receiving uplink light and a controller 3. The controller 3 includes: a communication processing unit 13 for acquiring uplink information from output signals of the light reception unit 4; a sub CPU 12 for acquiring position information for specifying the position of a vehicle on the basis of the output signals, and performing reading request of the acquired position information to the communication processing unit 13; and a main CPU 11 for generating downlink information on the basis of on information based on the position information and the uplink information. The communication processing unit 13 performs interruption processing for making the main CPU 11 acquire information based on the position information read according to the reading request during acquisition of the uplink information, to the main CPU 11. |
