PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alumina/zirconia laminated sintered body high in durability and a method for manufacturing it and a gas sensor element containing the alumina/zirconia laminated sintered body high in durability.SOLUTION: In an alumina/zirconia laminated sintered body (1) in which at least alumina layers (130, 190) and a zirconia layer (100) are laminated and integrally sintered, a sintering temperature is limited to 1450 to 1500°C, and a holding time is set to 1 to 2h such that the relative density of the alumina layers (130, 190) is adjusted to 94% or more, and that the relative density of the zirconia layer (100) is adjusted to 84% or more and 95% or less. |
