PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of recovering copper from copper smelting slag capable of reducing copper recovery loss by suppressing inhibition of sedimentation of copper particles in the slag during sedimentation separation of copper matte suspended in the slag from the smelting slag in copper smelting using a flash smelting furnace.SOLUTION: Inside a holding furnace holding slag occurring by copper smelting, the slag is stirred by a stirring device arranged in the holding furnace to settle copper particles in the slag. On stirring, stirring is carried out to generate swirl flow at a flow rate of >1 cm/s preferably. |
