<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pointer type display device having high impact resistance, which allows for stable needle movement with higher degree of freedom in design. <P>SOLUTION: A display device comprises a bridge type rotatable pointer 1 having an annular outer peripheral wheel 11, a shaft member 12 erected at the center of the annular outer peripheral wheel 11, and a bridge member 13 one end of which is fixed to the outer peripheral wheel 11 and another end of which is engaged with the shaft member 12 and at least one part of which functions as a pointer. The peripheral wheel 11 of the bridge type rotatable pointer 1 is rotated by a needle rotation mechanism 2, so that the bridge member 13 is rotated around the shaft center of the shaft member 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
