<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an external facing material which appears to have a recess or a protrusion different from the recess or the protrusion actually installed in visual and tactile senses and which can make a client and others surprised. <P>SOLUTION: At least one of a recess 2 and a protrusion 3 is installed on all or a part of the surface in a substrate 1. When the recesses 2 are installed, a false recess pattern 4 which appears to be a recess 2 when drawn on a flat surface is drawn on the recess 2.
