<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent any uneven clogging of a fore end face of a tool horn in order to solve a problem that an insulation film or a tin-plating layer is deposited on an uneven surface of the fore end face of the tool horn, and the occurrence frequency of clogging becomes high when executing the metal joining by applying the ultrasonic vibration to a metal wire with an insulation film such as polyimide and a tin-plated metal sheet. <P>SOLUTION: In the ultrasonic metal joining method, unevenness is formed at least on one of a plurality of metal sheets placed on an anvil, or on a surface with the metal sheet and the metal wire being brought into contact therewith, and a tool horn subjected to the ultrasonic vibration is pressed for joining from the upper side of the plurality of metal sheets or the metal sheet and the metal wire in contact with each other on the uneven surface placed on the anvil. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
