The invention relates to a torsional vibration damper comprising a primary part (1) and a secondary part (2) which can be rotated relative to each other in a circumferential direction (3) against the force of at least one spring element. The spring element is designed as a pressure spring (4) which has two spring contact surfaces (5, 6) that face away from each other in the circumferential direction (3). The primary part (1) has a primary part contact surface (7) which faces the first spring contact surface (5) in the circumferential direction (3), and the secondary part (2) has a secondary part contact surface (8) which faces the second spring contact surface (6) in the circumferential direction (3). When a force is not being applied, a spacing (9) is formed between the first spring contact surface (5) and the primary part contact surface (7) and/or a spacing (10) is formed between the second spring contact surface (6) and the secondary part contact surface (8) so as to taper over the surfaces in a stepped manner or in a constant manner. |
