PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video guidance in a stepwise manner and in real time or substantially in real time for efficiently cutting lifts into two or more products, when the determination of an efficient sequence of those processes is troublesome for normal operation to a cutting machine operator.SOLUTION: A guidance system can preferably display where various "logs" separated from lifts 20 are temporarily stored, and how and when they are re-inserted in the cutting machine 200 for further cutting as being juxtaposed and/or stacked by themselves, to an operator by a display 270. The feedback of a camera 280 can be used in order to secure the operator for properly positioning and orienting the lifts/logs.
