PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a feed material of iron in that a feed of iron from a ferruginous substance is promoted and can be continued stably, and to provide a feed method thereof.SOLUTION: The invention provides a feed material of iron in that the elution of iron from a ferruginous substance is promoted by mixing of ortho-2 substituted phenol acid substance and an amino acid into the ferruginous substance, and further a method for applying this to a water area. According to the feed material of the iron by this viewpoint, a polymer is formed by polymerization of the ortho-2 substituted phenol acid substance and amino acid, and the polymer functions as a chelator. Accordingly, the iron is stably present in the sea water by the chelator.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
