The invention relates to HDAC inhibitors for the treatment of peripheral neuropathy in a subject in need thereof. Also provided herein are methods for treating peripheral neuropathy in a subject in need thereof comprising administering to the subject a therapeutically effective amount of an HDAC inhibitor.

A method of treating a peripheral neuropathy in a subject in need thereof comprising administering to the subject a therapeutically effective amount of a compound of Formula (I): or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, wherein, Rx and Ry together with the carbon to which each is attached, form a cyclopropyl, cyclobutyl, cyclopentyl, cyclohexyl, cycloheptyl, or cyclooctyl; each RA is independently C1-6-alkyl, C1-6-alkoxy, halo, OH or haloalkyl; and m is 0, 1, or 2. or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, to thereby treat or prevent the peripheral neuropathy.
