<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a binder-coated refractory capable of reducing generation of gas during molding and having good fluidity. <P>SOLUTION: A solid coating layer containing a water-soluble inorganic compound selected from water glass, sodium chloride, sodium phosphate, sodium carbonate, sodium vanadate, sodium borate, aluminum sodium oxide, potassium chloride and a potassium carbonate as a binder is coated on a surface of a refractory aggregate. The coating layer coating the refractory aggregate is composed of the solid binder and has good fluidity without adherence property. The water-soluble inorganic compound does not discharge much harmful gas when thermally decomposed, and has a no risk of polluting environment. The water soluble inorganic compound is easily dissolved in water, so that a casting mold having good disintegrating property is produced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
