PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a turnover apparatus for steel plates which can reverse without occurrence of surface flaws even in steel plates varying significantly in plate thickness difference.SOLUTION: A turnover apparatus for steel plates includes a feed-side table erecting a mounted steel plate and a reception-side table receiving the steel plate erected on the feed-side table, and the feed-side table consists of a feed-side table part on which steel plates are mounted and a feed-side claw part supporting the end part of the erected steel plate. The reception-side table includes a reception-side table part on which steel plates are mounted, a reception-side claw part supporting the end part of the erected steel plate and an ascent/descent table which rotates with the table end part opposite to the claw part as the center and corrects a plate thickness difference. The surface of claw part of the reception-side table coming in contact with the end part of the steel plate is inclined so as to be separated further from the end part of the steel plate with decreasing rotation angle of the ascent/descent table. |
