PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for adjusting die fastening force capable of adjusting the die fastening force of a toggle type die fastening device in the use of a die in which, by the application of prescribed die closing force to a die closing direction, the die thickness in the die opening/closing directions is reduced such as a spring-fitted die without strictly controlling a die height position.SOLUTION: Provided is a die fastening force adjustment method for adjusting the die fastening force of a toggle type die fastening device provided with a die in which die thickness in the die opening/closing directions is reduced by the application of prescribed die closing force to the die closing direction. The reduction amount of the die thickness of the die is calculated from the position in the die opening/closing directions of a cross head when the die is closed under the pressure less than prescribed die closing force and the position in the die opening/closing directions of the cross head when the die is closed under the pressure more than the prescribed die closing force from the position and the die thickness in the die opening/closing directions of the die is reduced, and the high pressure change position in the die opening/closing directions of the die of the cross head is adjusted in accordance with the reduction amount of the die thickness, thus the die fastening force of the toggle type die fastening device is adjusted. |
