Disclosed are a server for measuring power efficiency of a vending machine and a method thereof comprising: a server communications module which forms a communications channel with one or more vending machines; and a server control module which collects power consumption information of the vending machine, consumed by a product selling action during a predetermined time according to a selling scenario which is equally provided to the vending machines, and detects a power consumption efficiency value based on the power consumption information.
