PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content providing system that improves usability in content provision via communication.SOLUTION: A content providing apparatus transmits, to a content reproducing apparatus, first data including at least data required for reproducing content of data involved in the content in response to reception of a content provision request from the content reproducing apparatus. In addition, after the transmission of the first data, the content providing apparatus sequentially transmits second data other than the first data of the data involved in the content. The content reproducing apparatus transmits the provision request to the content providing apparatus and receives the first data. After completion of the reception of the first data, the content reproducing apparatus performs content reproduction processing by use of the first data. In addition, receiving the second data sequentially, the content reproducing apparatus performs content reproduction processing by use of the received second data and first data. |
