Provided is a multiplexing communication system, transmitting device, receiving device, and processing device which can perform suitable error processing for each data type when communicating multiplexed data strings which have mixed multiple data types for which the error processing differs for each. The error setting means, after performing error detection setting processing based on the data transmission rate and data processing time of each multiple data, multiplexing and transmits that data in the multiplexing means. On the receiving side, after restoring each data in the restoration means, performs error detection/correction processing based on the setting processing by the error setting means with respect to each data. |
